BC Art: Before Ceramics (BC), I primarily worked with oil paints, pen and ink and colored pencil. I often worked with nature as my subject matter and occasionally ventured into reproducing works from the Masters, like W.H. Hunt's, "Isabella and the Pot of Basil", 1868.I developed my skill in this area from 1978 - 1995 until I took my first pottery class. I fell head over heels in love with clay and traded my sable brushes for clay tools!
