BC Art: Before Ceramics (BC), I primarily worked with oil paints, pen and ink and colored pencil. I often worked with nature as my subject matter and occasionally ventured into reproducing works from the Masters, like W.H. Hunt's , "Isabella and the Pot of Basil", 1868.I developed my skill in this area from 1978 - 1995 until I took my first pottery class. I fell head of heals in love with clay and traded my sable brushes for clay tools!
